Well, here we are again back in level 4 lockdown and hopefully as the prime minister says, this one is going to be short and sharp.

Once again, we are needing to limit the number of whānau and visitors into the Hospice unit and these will be the same members of the patients whānau each day.  If you are unsure, please call the team at Hospice 578 9492 and check before you leave home.

The Hospice Shop is definitely closed for the next three days (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday).  We, like everyone else, will reassess this on Friday when we get the next COVID update.

I know you will all be just as disappointed as we are that we are going to have to postpone Fabric-a-brac planned for this Saturday 21st August.  We have a huge range of fabric that we were excited to share with you.  The upside is that it’s not going to go off or spoil, so we can wait. The Fabric-a-brac team are working with the venue to set a new date, potentially a Saturday in September.

In the meantime, remember the golden rules, stay home and stay safe.
